Car insurance is a very big thing after a DUI in today's world because you never know when you are going to be in an accident or get a ticket.

1. Use the quotes as a guideline to decide which company sounds more reasonable than another do not go to their company off only a quote.

2. Make sure to read everything on the quote, especially the fine print because there is usually always fine print that is not noticeable if not looked into otherwise.

3. You must know and remember that a car insurance quote is only a quote; it's not set in stone. Especially in DUI cases, it is vary rare to receive a great deal.

4. When filling out information on a quote for DUI you want to fill it out as correctly as possible. If filled out incorrectly then the rates that you see in the quote will not be the same rates that they will charge you.

5. If you were able to choose the right insurance company, the money savings benefits would be large enough to offset some of the higher prices of gasoline for your vehicle.
